In 1971 Don Hutchinson left his position as national sales manager of Sturdevent Westinghouse and opened a manufacturers rep organization, Chicago Blower Sales of Atlanta. Chicago Blower Sales of Atlanta supplied Chicago Blower fans and Aerofin Coils to the industrial marketplace. The company established a reputation of knowledgeable product application for unique customer needs.
In 1991 business opportunities beyond the capabilities of the present corporate structure initiated the change from CBS Atlanta to HUTCHCO, INC.
HUTCHCO has expanded its product base to include other air related products such as; dampers, expansion joints and silencers. Hutch Engineering formed in 1991 to compliment Hutchco Sales. Other product lines have been added through the years with thermal oxidation being an important addition in 1998.
